SNOW PLANE Rally
Dale Robson Memorial
event :
description :
The Dale Robson Memorial Snow Plane Rally & Exhibition takes place in Tetonia’s city park. Snow Planes, known as the earliest iteration of snow mobiles, don’t actually fly but glide over the snow using skids and an aircraft motor. The shape of the “fuselage” looks just like the cockpit of a plane, thus the name. This exhibition provides an amazing connection to Teton Valley’s rich winter history and is a fun affair for the entire family.
Activities include:
Free Rides • Demonstrations • Video
Poker Run ($50 Entry) • Refreshments
Snow Plane rides for the public are free but donations are appreciated to help offset costs. There is no registration. Anyone with a snow plane is encouraged to bring it and participate in the rally. Cocoa, coffee, doughnuts and a bonfire will be available.
Poker Run: $50 to enter. The winner will receive the sum of the entry fees.
